Rules for Purple Cap in IPL 2025
Here are the rules to win the Purple Cap in IPL 2025:
- The award goes to the top wicket-taker of IPL 2025.
- The bowler with the most wickets during the season becomes the Purple Cap Holder and wears it while fielding.
- If two bowlers have the same number of wickets, the one with the better economy rate gets the Purple Cap.
- The current Purple Cap holder can continue wearing it until the end of the innings, even if another bowler surpasses their wicket tally.
